City Builder Archive SubscriptionsCould the City Builder archives - blip.tv subscriptions - be updated with the latest 2007 sessions? When you select the video archive link from the city builder homepage, it takes you to the citybuilder.blip.tv page. From here, if you select the 'Subscribe' tab, it allows you to download the past sessions to your local hard drive (subscribe), rather than replay them in streaming form bliptv. Once they're downloaded (though it may take a while with a slow connection), you can play them without skip or delay through iTunes or Windows Media Player. With various work environment firewall conflicts that block video, and less than desirable hotel internet connection speeds that I run into with work travel, I can't always get a chance to catch the videos live. I was able to download the 2006 sessions and play them through iTunes, such as "Fishing with Ms. Bertha". Assuming that there may be other viewers out there that also encounter issues with the streaming video, I'm wondering if these "Archive Session Subscriptions" could be updated with the latest vids to help out those, like me, who may find themselves to be highspeed deficient. I'm sure this is not a difficult thing to update, for whomever on the citybuilder tech team has admin access to the blip.tv acct. - as long as citybuilder is open to sharing the vids in this way. I just thought I'd make the suggestion to get the ball rolling. :) Keep up the good work citybuilders/missionaries! Hugh Springer, Jr. |
